Aryans Celebrates International Nurses Day

 Expert from PGIMER, Chandigarh & Medical Education, Punjab address Aryans Nursing students

Aryans Institute of Nursing (AIN), Rajpura, Near Chandigarh celebrated International Nurses Day under the theme “Our Nurses, Our Future. The economic power of care". Dr. Varinder Garg, OSD to President (PGIMER), Union Health Minister, India; Principal Investigator, Indian Council of Medical  Research, CIBioD, Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research, Chandigarh was the Chief Guest while the Guests of Honour were Dr. Puneet Girdhar, Joint Director, Medical Education, Punjab; S. Gurdyal Singh Buttar, President, Nursing Training Institute Association (NTIA), Punjab & Dr. Gurpreet Singh, Joint Secretary, Punjab Uniaided Colleges Association (PUCA). Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over.


PGI expert, Dr. Varinder Garg said that while doctors are hailed for their medical genius, the contribution of nurses may often be relegated to the shadows of the hospital corridors. However, times is changing, and one of the biggest examples in the recent past has been that of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Cardiologist from Max interacted with Aryans Students   To raise awareness about cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura,  Near Chandigarh in association with Max Super Specialty Hospital Mohali  organized a workshop on "How to prevent Heart Attack in Youngsters?" Blood Donation Camp On 43rd Death Anniversary Of Lala Jagat Narain

ADC Patiala was Chief Guest while Civil Surgeon Patiala was Guest of Honour   A voluntary blood donation camp was organised by Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh. Dr. Harjinder Singh Bedi (IAS), Additional Deputy Commissioner, Patiala inaugurated the camp as Chief Guest while  Dr. Jatinder Kansal, Civil Surgeon Patiala was the Guests of Honour. Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over. The donors were honored with medals & Certificates. 51 unit of blood were collected in this camp. A 10 members team of blood transfusion from Rajindra Hospital, Patiala including Doctors,  Nurses  and Technicians conducted a thorough medical checkup of voluntary & eligible donors to donate blood.
